Peak Performance for Lawyers: Planning Sustainable Success
Peak Performance for Lawyers: Planning Sustainable Success
A practical CLE seminar to help you prevent burnout, manage stress, and build resilience for a sustainable legal career.
Mental health is not a personal luxury. As lawyers, we must be on top of our game to better serve our clients. But if our mental health is not in good shape, we can’t be competent advocates and counselors. Our competence hinges on our mental sharpness and emotional resilience. Yet the relentless pressures of legal practice threaten to undermine our well-being and, by extension, our ability to serve our clients effectively.
This seminar moves beyond mere discussion to provide actionable strategies to safeguard your mental health, a core component of professional competence.
Mental health professional Noel Nix explores how some of our day-to-day practices may lead us to burnout. Preventative care can help us tweak our routines to reach and maintain sustainable peak performance.
Presenter: Noel Nix, MURP, MA
Drawing on his unique background as the son of a district court judge and a 15-year career in local government and community development, Noel Nix understands the high-stakes pressures legal professionals face from the inside out.
Noel is a pre-licensed clinical counselor with Vibrant Life Therapy Clinic focused on providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Noel specializes in providing care and support to emerging and established public, non-profit, and private sector leaders. He holds a Master in Urban Planning and a Master in Counseling Psychology.
